Our final day began early as we played a 7:30 AM game against United from Pocatello. It was good measuring stick for our team to see how we rate against some tough competition. We played a good match against a team who had been together for 3 and a half years and has only lost a handful of games. It was fun watching Erin dancing in the midfield with their center fullback. It's good to see how easily Erin can make a BFF. It was amazing to see how fast Tacy could retaliate for a kick in the face. Unfortunately they were able to get some well placed shots and we came out on the short end of the stick with a 4-0 loss. But as our team gets more experienced Coach Russ believes that we will be able to play as well as these more experienced teams. Way to go Scion X-treme!!!
Overall the Cache Valley Cup Tournament was a great success. It was great to see everyone have fun and enjoy being together. We won our first tournament game as a team which is pretty incredible. Thank you to the parents and the other spectators for your support. Thank you players for giving it your all. As a reward we will be taking a week off!!!! When we resume be prepared for some conditioning, running, and getting in shape for the upcoming season.
Welcome to our new team blog. The purpose of this blog is to keep you updated on all of our activities as a team, pictures of games, schedules, possible homework, and review of games and practices.

Cache Cup Partay!!!
Tonights overcast, muggy, evening didn't diminish our X-treme team spirit! It was fun to hang out together on the Sky View High school fields. We got quite a few comments about our nice bright blue shirts. It made it easy to spot each other too!! Dinner was plenty of pizza, salad, and a Fat Boy as a treat. There was music, venders and even bouncy houses for the little siblings who get dragged to all our games. There was also a ton of soccer going on and quite a bit of boy gazing as well!!
The highlight of the evening was watching Coach Russ and Coach Cris take to the field in their X-Treme green zebra striped socks and show us how it's done!! At first the wind was in the coaches favor. With one great score against the referees. We were the loudest supporters of our coaches! Russ said he could hear us cheer for them every time they went on and off the field! At half time we were asked to get off the metal bleachers to avoid being struck by lightening from the swiftly moving storm headed our way. Our loyal team stuck out a mighty wind and remained on the track to cheer our coaches on. Then came the rain as well as a point for the referees tying the game 1 to 1. Coach Ottley had a nice cross kick that almost made it in had it not been for the wind pushing the ball away from the goal :( He said that as the game was called he could hear his team cheering for him so loud! He was amazed that we all stayed out in the pouring rain to watch him. It made him feel so loved that we stayed. We are X-tremely loyal and proud of our coaches.
See you all bright and early, wearing your white jersey at 7 am for our next big game at 7:30. We will be playing on the first field you see at Sky View. Come ready to play in the rain and give your best effort!
